Alright, so i built a lap steel from scratch, made from pieces of wood that i had laying around. Obviously, it’s missing the shiny and all that. It should be done soon.
What you see here is a vintage Kay acoustic guitar. I don’t have much information about it. It has beautiful floral detailing that gives it southern charm.
Not for sale, but available for photoshoots and special events.
This vintage 1955 Harmony Monterey guitar has a story. The side panel was completely smashed in when i purchased it a few years ago. The front was scraped up, but in a rugged, road-worm way that so many luthiers try to emulate. It was in such a bad shape, it cost peanuts compared to what it’s really worth . And after the beautiful work i done to it, it’s worth every single one of those nuts. It sounds wonderful.

This is my latest project. i modify a stratocaster-style, Yamaha Pacifica without much personality except a few worn-out stickers. Found it on good ol’ Craigslist. I think of giving it a retro rock’n’roll edge, though im still unsure about the color i will paint it. (EDIT: After much deliberation, it’s baby blue some kind of blue.)
The guitar itself was in good shape and played really well. I were surprised to find out the body was hardwood (beats that plywood crap). Can’t wait to see how this baby’s gonna turn out!

This is my first redesigned model, named Vegas for obvious reasons. It used to be a boring, black Crafter P-bass look-a-like, before becoming somewhat mayonaise-colored. Then i pounded it with ultra-thin layers and layers of varnish and golden glitter, 15 of them actually. Never have I seen a much more glamorous bass guitar. Should wear sunglasses when playing it because the reflection of the lights will blind you.
